I love this play. I saw it for the first time when I was 12 years old. My father directed it, and my older sister played Maria and it was the first time Iapos;d ever seen Shakespeare and understood it.

Of course it doesnapos;t hurt that the show, (and this speech in particular) is very slashy. Hmmm. This may hatch a chicken/egg debate.
